After a successful first series TENT is back with more.

Starting in June, TENT involves a two-hour online poetry workshop once a week for six weeks, facilitated by Jonathan Catherall, Tentacular’s editor. It’s for experienced and newer poets. The ethos of TENT will be, as the name implies, encompassing and welcoming of everyone, and of all kinds of writing.

The aim of the course is to stimulate your writing and give you a chance to get feedback on it. Some different contemporary poems will be introduced to challenge your thinking, there’ll be some fun exercises in the mix, and there’ll be two slots in which more experienced poets read their work. You’ll be able to share poems with the group and feedback will be actively encouraged, always from a place of respect, care and trying to understand what the other person is trying to achieve.
