Maria Sledmere graduated with an MLitt in Modernities in 2017. She is currently exploring critical-creative and collaborative practice around Anthropocene aesthetics, hybrid forms and the everyday. She is a member of A+E Collective, Gilded Dirt’s founding editor, co-editor of SPAM zine and occasional music critic for GoldFlakePaint, The List and Ravechild. Last year, she collaborated with producer Lanark Artefax and the RBMA on a new materialist-inspired installation titled ‘The Absent Material Gateway’. Her first pamphlet, Existential Stationary, is out now via SPAM Press.
