Aysar Ghassan lives in Coventry. His poems have been published in journals including The Interpreter’s House, The Lampeter Review, Magma, Poetry Birmingham, Strix, Under the Radar, Abridged, Washington Square Review and The Scores, as well as in anthologies such as Diversifly (Fair Acre Press). Aysar was shortlisted in the 2018 Leeds Peace Poetry Competition and in 2019 he represented Coventry in the annual Coventry-Cork Poetry Exchange. Aysar is currently a Dynamo mentee with Nine Arches Press.
