Rooftop

Pluck at the cherries in Enfield Food Centre
take lychees and eat them godiva’d on my fake corsa, text girls promising them
hotel rooms to skip the crumbs for
the car-ish car is parked up on Hertford road
people scoot out Golden Baklava past my display with birthday cakes in boxes
like me
walk slow so the cake doesn’t slide and so they’re forced to watch me as the sun heats the roof,
I move my back so the cake doesn’t melt
